If we want to describe Slingia in a few words, then we should say: "The village is a small hamlet in the borough of Malles Venosta in the Venosta Valley, near the Swiss border, with almost 200 inhabitants". Winter

In winter, in Slingia it is cross-country skiing that is the master. Here you will find the Nordic Ski Centre, famous for its international cross-country skiing competitions. A total of 15 kilometres of slopes offer maximum fun for both beginners and experienced skiers.

But skiers, snowboarders, ski touring and tobogganing enthusiasts can also take advantage of the nearby Watles ski area, with 18 kilometres of perfectly prepared slopes on modern lifts.

As part of the Ortler Skiarena, the "adventure mountain" Watles, as the locals call it, attracts not only adults but also small skiers. With ski kindergarten and ski school.
